Remembrance Day
National Ceremony Wednesday 11 November 2009
On 11 November 1918 at 11am the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare. This year marks the 91st Anniversary of the Armistice, when Australians remember those who fought and died for our country in war and armed conflicts. Everyone is encouraged to attend this important ceremony. Please note the Memorial will be closed during the ceremony and will open after the ceremony's conclusion.
